DOES PREPARING YOUR HOME FOR SALE PAY OFF?
We recently had a home that was dated, needed cosmetics, repairs and landscaping in Torrance. The seller decided to not prep the home for sale but just to sell it “as is”. We offered it off market to investors and some families willing to fix it up. The seller could not get the price they wanted in the “as is” condition. Then they invested approx. $40,000 using our contactors and recommendations of what to do to maximize the sales price. Preparing a home for sale is not necessarily the same as things you would do for yourself. You need to know the difference and that’s something we provide. The bottom line: they sold for $185,000 higher than they could get “as is” with a $40,000 investment. Would you call that a WIN?
