Hello Friends. Spring flowers are here but with the drought continuing water cuts are looming. The Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw just became their all time strikeout leader. The Angels are in first place and looking good. Who will be the NBA champ this year? The hottest new sport in the USA is pickleball with over 5 million players. Gas prices seem to have stabilized in the $5.00 range. Lots of gas stations are now adding only 10 cents a gallon to use your credit card. Some none. Upcoming movies include Top Gun 2 in May, Jurassic World Domination in June, and Elvis in June. Ray saw Elvis perform live in Las Vegas in 1975, two years before his passing. Marymount California University will be closing permanently August 31st. The Torrance Sport Complex by the Civic Center has been saved and is being renamed the LA Galaxy Sports Complex. Stocks have taken a big hit and may go lower. They remain a great long term investment if history is any key. We want to honor all those who served or are serving in the Armed Forces on Memorial Day. Never forget those who gave their lives defending freedom.

Randy’s Donuts Experience
Ray recently stopped at Randy’s Donuts on Hawthorne Blvd. to buy donuts. After waiting in line he went to pay but unfortunately only had a $50 bill. Lucas, who was helping Ray, said “we can’t break that, but don’t worry, just pay next time.” Ray stopped by a few days later and paid Lucas the $4 he owed. Lucas burst into a big smile and said “you remembered!” What a great example of customer service that is often missing in today’s world. Give Randy’s Donuts a try and say “hi” to Lucas.
