Hello Friends. Fall is here and the kids are back in school. However, it doesn’t mean all the warm weather is gone. Halloween is just around the corner. The Dodgers won the National League West with the best record in baseball. Let’s hope they bring another World Series championship home. USC is starting out strong with new coach Riley and UCLA won their first three. Pickleball is the latest sports craze to sweep the nation. Have you tried it? Gas prices are creeping back up again. Inflation came in at 8.6% year to year in August which is not good. High inflation rates mean the Fed is likely to keep raising interest rates. If mortgage rates jump much higher it will definitely hurt home sales. Social security will get a big jump next year due to inflation. And the stock market doesn’t like high inflation, as seen by the recent drops in the Dow, S&P and Nasdaq.

Remember the Gable House Bowl in Torrance? The planning commission just approved a 200 plus mixed unit development with mainly apartments (including 17 low income) and retail on the ground floor. The City Council will probably get the final say.
