From Hawthorne Blvd., take Fashion Way by the
Denny’s and turn north past the parking structure.

Then follow the signs in. From Torrance Blvd., turn south on Amie then follow the signs in.

Hello Friends. Spring has brought out the flowers in full force. Driving up Hawthorne Blvd. into Palos Verdes you can see the mustard painting the hillside yellow. The Dodgers started the season off on fire winning 8 in a row and the Angels went 7-3. The Lakers are positioning for a playoff spot however they are a long shot to win the NBA title. Golden Girl Betty White is being honored on a postage stamp. Real ID is being required for travel within the US starting May 7th. Or you can still use your passport. Did you know sales tax went up .25% In April for homeless programs? Torrance is now 10.25% .

Excellent casual Mediterranean restaurant to try:
Calf and Chick at 2404 Sepulveda Blvd Torrance (just east of Crenshaw behind Wendys) Reasonably priced and I enjoyed the combo plate with a chicken and beef skewer. They make their own pita. Give them a try.
